The reasons why I’m leaving Raytheon are more than just one incident. It’s a combination of many events that have happen over the last five years that have made me dislike being in this environment. For example, I was accused of sexual harassment back in 2010. It was a mutual relationship however, when things went sideways this person made up a bunch of crap and went to HR with it. I was threatened with termination if I didn’t give my full cooperation. I told the unadulterated truth and this person basically lied about pretty much everything except one fact! I was given a written warning about it and was forced to take HRSH2009WB. If you have had to take the Supervisors Preventing Workplace Harassment one would have noticed this. When I confronted the then SWEC DM and HR persons they didn’t respond. This made me realize that HR is for the protection of Raytheon’s interest only not the employee’s. Raytheon is flying the Mississippi which has the Confederate Flag inside of it.

Then there was the safety glass incident. R23 use to have all kinds of work there. However, some manager comes up with this brilliant idea that every individual needs to wear safety glasses. I can see that in an area where they actually do assembly but in an area where there is software development and the two never meet?

So fast forward to the beginning of 2012. I wear prescription glasses and was getting headaches from the company supplied safety glass. So I went to the company nurse and complained about this. After a meeting with HR and the mangers that are over building R23, I was told to either wear them or I would be terminated. I was given a written reprimand because I didn’t have the safety glasses enough to appease the management. “on multiple occasions on 2/1 and 2/2 you were observed wearing safety glasses on top of your head rather then cover your eyes.” But they never asked me about it! I told them it was stupid. In that front lab there is no need for it today

Then there was the person that made the inappropriate comment to me and then my supervisor at the time question me as to whether
