Found great review article[2] for enneagram!! posted in 2021 (PM#- 33332604)
Based on this article-- the final sentence in the "nine types" paragraph is described incorrectly. the wings have to be of the types next to the center type for example- a type 4 can have 3 or 5 wings but a type 4 can't have a 9 wing because they aren't next to each other.
This systematic review article found that the enneagram is an example of a practice used that has a gap between the science supporting it and the ability to put the theory to practice.
factor analysis suggests that there are fewer than 9 categories (especially when looking at the WEPSS--> points to more like 5 types similar to the big five)
The lead section is really great. It has a well-rounded overview of the article and lists important aspects of the topic. The History section has lots of information but doesn't really flow together. I found myself reading through it a few times to see the relation between the different paragraphs. It says the origin of the Enneagram is disputed a list would work and maybe that's what you were going for but in its current format, it is hard to tell if they should be paragraphs or bullet points. I thought the whole article was very neutral so good work!

If you're starting a new article, you can develop it here until it's ready to go live. If you're working on improvements to an existing article, copy only one section at a time of the article to this sandbox to work on, and be sure to use an edit summary linking to the article you copied from. Do not copy over the entire article. You can find additional instructions here. Remember to save your work regularly using the "Publish page" button.
