Rohan Deshmukh was born on 12th December, 1987. He is the son of Mr. Shubhash Deshmukh, the State Cooperatives Minister and Mrs. Smitatai Shubhash Deshmukh. He is the grandson of Late Sureshchandra Keshavrao Deshmukh and Late Shakuntala Sureshchandra Deshmukh, both being teachers in their formative years. Deshmukh attended The Little Flower Convent School upto the 9th Standard and finished his last three years of high school with Sangameshwar College, Solapur. Perhaps of his entrepreneur father, Entrepreneurship was something that attracted him. Therefore it was logical for him to pursue his under graduation in a field that would help him transform himself into an entrepreneur. Post his high school graduation he travelled to the US where he completed his under graduation with a degree in Bio-Technology and Entrepreneurship from Rochester University, New York. He returned to India after completing his studies, and joined his father Subhash Deshmukh who is the Founder Chairman of the Lokmangal Group of Companies headquartered in Solapur, Maharashtra. The Lokmangal Group is into multiple business domains like Infrastructure, Banking, Manufacturing, Education, etc.

Rohan Deshmukh is currently chairman of Lokmangal Multistate Cooperative society (LMCS) Ltd, Solapur. He is considered to be one of the youngest Multistate Chairmen in India.

Rohan Deshmukh is a politically active and budding politician. He is a very active member of the BJP. He was the Yuva Morcha Secretary, and had contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 from Osmanabad Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate.

He is Considered by many to be the Ideal Youth Icon and the Sakal Media Group recognizing the fact awarded him the “Youth Icon of Maharashtra”

Rohan is passionately involved in many social activities that relates to the rural youth empowerment and grass roots social work.

He is the current Chairman of the Lokmangal Foundation which was set up by the Lokmangal Group to act as a Social Responsibility delivery partner for the group. The Foundation works on a large variety of socially impacting activities like Mass community marriage, Rain water harvesting, Free higher education, Free meals for senior citizens, Job fairs, agricultural exhibitions. Most of the funding of The Foundation comes from within the Lokmangal Group companies as part of their commitment to Social Responsibility. The word Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was being practiced in the Lokmangal Group much before it became a fashionable industry buzz word.

He is also the Executive President of Shriram Prathishthan Mandal (SPM) which is an NGO Educational Trust based out of Wadala village, Solapur District.

The mission of SPM is Shri Subhash Deshmukh's vision of creating a High Quality KG to PG Educational Institution free of cost. This commitment has resulted in the creation of a large camps of educational institutions from pre-primary to secondary schools, colleges and institutes of higher learning.

Currently the SPM sponsors the education of a number of students from the weaker sections of society.

Rohan Deshmukh was married to Komal Sanjay Kakade, daughter of sitting Rajya Sabha MP and Pune based Real Estate Developer Shri Sanjay Kakade and Usha Kakade on the 7th of May 2017. She is a Bachelors Degree holder from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. Rohan has an elder brother Manish Deshmukh and a sister Ashwini Jadhav who is married to entrepreneur Abhimanyu Jadhav of Pune.
