  Steve Skull is a Canadian musician, songwriter and singer born in Chatham, Ontario. He is mostly known for his guitar work. Steve began playing around his hometown with a cover band called Lyra. Thanks to gigging with Lyra, Steve began to build a reputation as an up and coming guitarist/singer by the touring cover/original bands that toured through his hometown at the local rock club, The Aberdeen. This lead to him being asked by the band Thunder Circus, to join as co-lead guitarist. Lyra were looking for a new bassist at the time, so the timing was right for Steve to move on. With Thunder Circus, two cross Canada tours would follow (1988 and 1989) after which time (1990) Steve decided to move to Toronto after getting known on the Toronto hard rock/metal scene. 

  He was asked by a Toronto singer to audition for a band he had just joined in New Jersey called The Flu. The Flu were being produced by Skid Row bassist, Rachel Bolan. Steve went down to Tom's River, New Jersey and after an audition, was offered the gig as lead guitarist. His time with The Flu would be short lived (demos were recorded, but no gigs were played with Steve) and Steve returned to Toronto to join up and tour with a Guns N' Roses tribute band called Sons of Guns (later called Dust N' Bones). Steve decided to try and reform Thunder Circus (1991) as an all original band. He approached Thunder Circus' other guitarist, Dan Cardoso and bassist, Eric Forrest. They agreed to also move to Toronto to begin planning and writing new material, while looking for a drummer. A new bassist would be needed as well, as it was agreed upon that Eric Forrest would become Thunder Circus' new lead singer.

  Thunder Circus would add drummer, Desche Sparboom and bassist, Mike Unger. The band began gigging (also recorded a demo known as 8-track Attack) around the Toronto music scene (1992-93). Many of their friend's bands were beginning to generate interest and, in some cases, sign record deals such as Slik Toxik, Sven Gali, Slash Puppet, Michelin Slave (also known as Strait Jakket) to name a few. The band felt they were beginning to fall through the cracks of the Toronto scene. And with the music scene beginning to shift in a different direction (i.e. Grunge), the band felt a new direction was the way to go. Steve did a lot of the lyrical writing and demoed (sang) the songs for Eric Forrest to learn, so the decision was made for Steve to take over as lead singer and part ways with Forrest (Forrest would go on to join Voivod and then later moved to France to form his own band, E-Force). The band decided to over haul the whole look and sound of the band and thus decided a new name was to be chosen as well.

 Steve made his debut with M.A.D. in 1988 on their Decisions, Decisions demo. He has been in over 50 bands, including Lyra (1987-89), The Flu (1990), Thunder Circus (with Eric Forrest (1992), touring

guitarist for the Killer Dwarfs (1995), Fear Disorder (1996), "Steve" (1999), "Sandman" (Metallica tribute band), (2003-04), "The Intruders" (2009-present).

 The band Fear Disorder was signed and released one album called “In A Rage”. It was released in 27 countries throughout Europe and the U.K. in 1997. That band opened for Rob Halford’s old band, Fight and also Voivod, which included former band mate Eric Forrest.

Steve is still playing with The Intruders and teaching guitar. He lives in the Toronto, Ontario area.
