Erdal Elver (born 2 January 1960) is a Turkish-born German business executive who has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Taiwan since 2012 and Siemens Hong kong and Macau since 2021.
Early life and education
Erdal Elver was born in Gürün, Sivas Province of Turkey, in January 1960. Elver migrated to Munich, Germany when he was 18 years old. Elver pursued his studies in Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science at the Technische Universität München.
Career
Erdal Elver currently serves as President and CEO of Siemens Taiwan and Siemens Hong Kong and Macao, leading overall strategy in the areas of electrification, automation and digitalisation, and delivering sustainable solutions for infrastructure and industry in those territories.
Elver joined Siemens in 1984. Prior to his current position, he served as the President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam and held various senior management positions in Germany and China. With more than 35 years of experience working in the engineering and manufacturing industry, he has been leading the company to be a trusted technological partner and driving sustainable solutions in the field of smart infrastructure and industry. He received his Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, Germany.
