"National strength can only be built on character. A nation is nothing more or less than its citizenry. It is the people that make up its nation. And therefore, it cannot be stronger than its components parts.

                                      Manuel L. Quezon

"The policies and achievements of the government and regenaration of the Filipino"[1]

National strength depends on the people living on it. Like what it says "It is the people that make up its nation." Therefore the weakness of every single person is definitely the weakness of the whole. And at the same time, their strength is its power and the only reason why it is standing with its pride. We all live not just exist. Each one of us have purposes and responsibilities and that is to make our nation proud. Let our nation stand and conquer the human race. Filipinos are not inferior to any man at any race because it is one of the proudest among all. It is excellent no matter what.
According to Gigi Zulita of Zamboanga "The youth before were conservative and reserved. Today`s youth is strongly influenced by new technology becoming wild and having low morals." In some instances, C. Gaspar of Laog City said that "The values that our grandparents held so much in their time is now taken for granted of present generation." [2]Filipinos nowadays are all living for himself. By that nation is apparently standing alone for its own. Filipino do their best for their benefit rather than doing labor for their nation. The problem with low esteem people is that they cast strong people as villains . They were used of Crab Culture. On the other hand the opposite bookend of those people are the Power Monger in which they are willing to sell their soul and even their nation to devil if it will benefit them and will satisfy their gratification.[3]

Filipinos of today differ a lot from Filipinos of yesterday. Though thare are some who can be seen living indigenously. Some still do but just a few. Always remember that each individual should change along with its nation not to change leaving its nation behind. Everyone must be proud of their nationality no matter what happened, wherever they go and whatever they do. Each and everyone of us are the building blocks of a nation. It is not a nation if it don`t have us. Nation is the reflection of every people, their interaction shows how a nation responds to a change that is unstoppable. Our change is its change, our failure is its failure but our strength is its power. We are all protagonists plotting our own story. We may stumble and fall but still we will rise. It is not just the end but it is just the beginning. We are making our destiny and creating another history. Filipinos can and Filipinos will.
