I am a long-time writer and a full-time communicator. I have experience in technology, entertainment, and marketing.

I have used Wikipedia extensively, but have not entered into the editing world until now. I love reading your talk pages. ;)

COI? Yes. I am currently working on improving a page for a company I am employed with. I believe the updates benefit the page, and thusly Wikipedia, but I also understand that I am new. Please let me know if you have suggestions, or if you would like to see me improve my editing.

Languages

I am a native English speaker.

I have worked in French, but would not consider myself fluent. It may be helpful to note that I know enough to have helped translate French into English on occasion for friends & business.

I am also not fluent in Hocąk, but I really ought to be.

I hope to use this awkward entrance into wikiworld to continue learning and working as an editor here. If you'd like some help with a program or a goal let me know - I think I would benefit from working with someone who has more experience here.

Interests

I grew up around the civil rights movement, the entertainment business, and then the early days of computing, so all of these areas are of interest to me & probably always will be.

My favorite discussions are usually around music: Rock and Roll specifically, but I listen to almost anything I can get a hold of.

I enjoy gaming in my spare time. I'm currently working through a backlog of old-ish console games, but also play on PC.

Random thoughts

I'd like to add some userboxes and more interests after I have had a chance to be around a bit longer.
