Evaluate the drafted changes

-I agree that the lead doesn't need much addition/changing, but I don't necessarily think the last sentence about it being a copy needs to be removed unless this is misinformation.

-I do think the description is the point of the article that could use the biggest facelift, and I like the information that you added. Perhaps there is another paragraph you could add under the description that is more commentary focused. I think some additional information about why the lion represents/is important to Venice could be good there if you can add any (I do know this may be difficult because of the info you've added to the iconography section), and maybe how the cracked and rebuilt nature of the statue can relate to the city as a whole?

-Definitely like how you restructured the iconography/popular culture section to be more of a list, I feel like this is what most Wikipedia articles do.

-Maybe there is some more info you can find on how it has been in and out of the city, I found the portion of the article about how it was taken to France very interesting.
