Situation Interactive is an interactive marketing agency specializing in services to live event clients including theatre, cultural institutions, leading entertainment brands, sports and film. The agency was founded in 2001 by Damian Bazadona. Situation Interactive's headquarters are located in New York City's theatre district with satellite offices in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Notable campaigns

Next to Normal: The Twitter Performance

In 2009, Situation Interactive launched the first performance of a play via Twitter for the Tony Award winning musical, Next to Normal. With the help of the show's lyricist, Brian Yorkey, Situation produced exclusive content and garnered over one million Twitter followers. The initiative landed Situation Interactive the 2009 OMMA Award for Best Use of Social Media as well as Best in Show.


HAIR eParty

In 2010, Situation Interactive and the 2009 Broadway revival of Hair (musical) initiated the installation of a camera with a robotic arm in the Al Hirschfeld Theatre capturing the finale of the performance allowing for audience members to share their experience on stage with friends via Facebook, Twitter and email.
