Nat Gertler is a writer who has written books about computers and comics, including The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Graphic Novel (co-authored with Steve Lieber). He has also written comics, prose fiction, television episodes, and at least one video game script. Gertler founded the About Comics publishing company.
Gertler is the self-published creator of the comics mini-series The Factor, about a superhero who is never actually seen in the comic. The Factor was nominated for the 1999 Eisner Award for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition.[1]
