Josh earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Illinois State University in 1997 and a Master of Arts from Governors State University in 2007. Education

  • Illinois State University, Bachelor of Music Education, 1997
  • Governors State University, Master of Arts, 2007

Platform

Harms has never run for political office previously, and has not been involved in the Republican Party. Harms states that he will not accept donations from the Republican party, political action committees or corporations. The only donations accepted will be from individuals.[4] Harms' platform includes following a conservative agenda, which includes reducing Illinois' corporate tax rate, lowering unemployment insurance costs, supporting concealed carry laws, and opposing abortion.[5] Harms is in favor of ten-year term limits for lawmakers and a single six-year term for governor.[3]
