Jack Names the Planets is a five piece American Punk Rock band from New Jersey. Jack Names the Planets is the result of several bands over the past two decades. The band consists of brothers Jarred Oberman (lead vocal and guitar), Josh Oberman (drums), Shane Oberman (bass), and long time friends Chris Patrick Fonarev (lead guitar), and Adam George (back-up vocals, guitar, keyboard). Their first single, "Ghost Stories", was released on December 6th 2017 under Vagrant Revival Records. The band name is taken from a chapter of the Stephen King and Peter Straub novel, The Talisman.
