Donald Black, (born (1953-11-03)November 3, 1953) is the President and CEO of Cornerstone Television, Inc. He is also a author, speaker and Christian leader.

Early life

Black was born in Washington, Pennsylvania in 1953 and attended high school in states including West Virginia and Illinois. His father was a Construction Engineer in the Coal industry and Donald soon followed suit, becoming the youngest member of the United Mine Workers. He became a Christian at the age of 8 watching Billy Graham on television. His higher education included studies at the University of Charleston and Regent University, where he recieved a M.A. in Communications.[1]

Career

Black started his career in the Christian ministry with the Christian Broadcast Network in 1984. He then went on to work on the Christian Coalition contributing to the "Contract With America" and the 1994 Republican Revolution. Black would then go on to work at The Inspiration Networks and eventually serve as the COO for In Touch Ministries, during which the non-profit was named to Forbe's "Top 200 Largest Charities" list[2], and as Charles Stanley's literary agent. [3]

On December 19th 2012, the Board of Directors for Cornerstone Television unanimously selected Black to become its President and CEO.[4] Black has since overseen a renovation of the Television studio, as well as the creation of new television shows like "Sister to Sister", "The Living Room Concert Series" and "Real Life", the network's flagship show which he also hosts.[5]

Cornerstone Television is based out of Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, where Black also currently resides.[6]
