El Tegüs (d. 9 August 1340) was the son of Jayaatu Khan, ruler of the Yuan dynasty. Jayaatu died in 1332 and in his will, stated that he expressed remorse for being involved in the death of his elder brother and wanted his eldest son Toghon Temür to become Emperor. Toghon Temür was far away from the capital at the time so El Temür, a officer who helped Jayaatu take the throne chose Rinchinbal to become Emperor but Rinchinbal died shortly after being installed as Emperor. El Temür wanted El Tegüs to become Emperor since Toghon Temür was still far away but Budashiri, El Tegüs's mother forced El Temür to install Toghon Temür on the throne. El Tegüs was exiled in 1340 by Toghon Temür where he died shortly after.
