The first generation "Hmong Nation Society"[1][2] or the younger generation of "Hmong Nation Society" or H.N.S. for short, is a Hmong street gang active in California and the Midwestern United States. They have been known for trafficking illegal drugs (especially methamphetamine)[1] and weapons. The gang can also be identified with its number affiliation 475.[3]

History

Hmong Nation Society. The gang started in California in 1992 when three gangs: Asian Family Gangsters (A.F.G), Pacific Lover Boys (P.L.B), and Oroville Mono Boys (O.M.B) formed a family gang and soon created (H.N.S) in 1992 out of North Sacramento.

Identification

Hmong Nation Society members tend to use the color red or blue (depending on where the members are from). They are also identified by gang-related tattoos such as their gang initial and the numeric code "475". The four standing for "H", seven standing for "N", and five standing for "S".
