Ben Mackie is an American singer originating from Mankato, Minnesota.
Personal Life
Ben was born in Detroit to a pastor and a Christian music educator. His family relocated when he was an infant to North Mankato, Minnesota when his mom got a job as the Director of Christian Music Education at a local church. While at this church, he meet Patrick Hasse (aka Patrick Holland), and they became close friends.
Go Away Mad!
Ben and Patrick created Go Away Mad! in September of 2009, under the name Who We Are. Ben was originally the vocalist and drummer, but became vocalist and synth player after Joe joined the band in late December/early January.
