Habit rose to fame being the Hype man for the NJ based rap group ARCANE (Timmy Grins, JB and Malprak). Growing up only miles apart from each other the four had never met. It wasn’t until the year 2001 while on vacation in Maryland that Habit met Timmy Grins outside a roof top party in Baltimore promoting the newest single BiPolar which eventually reached #24 on the college radio charts. Not having any experience in the music industry Habit worked closely with Timmy Grins to market the new single and get the bands name out to the streets.

By the summer of 2003 Habit & Arcane were invited onto the Vans Warped Tour at the Code of the Cutz stage for 7 shows. The tour would change the lives of everyone involved. Before that week was up Habit and Arcane would perform at the famous Pontiac Silver dome in Detroit to a crowd of over 10,000 fans as well as cross the boarder into Canada for 2 sold out shows in Montreal and Toronto. The band would later put out 2 follow up singles “Kidnap” and Chasing AMI both charting in the top 20.

Returning home everyone agreed this was the path they were all going to travel together on. Habit relocated from Maryland to Sussex County where the 4 would perform with such heavy hitters like Digital underground, Luniz, Slick Rick, MOP, Pharoh Monch, Method Man, KRS-One, Atmosphere, Non-Phixion, Lordz of Brooklyn and many more. On June 18th 2004 the band put out there first full length album titled “GroundWork”. The Warped tour came calling again this time they wanted Habit and Arcane to perform 55 shows in 58 days, the entire length of the North American tour. The group invested in a tour bus and hit the road running performing alongside such acts as My Chemical Romance, Flogging Molly, New Found Glory, Hazen Street,Bad Religion,Fall out Boy, Good Charlotte, Yellow Card and also the NJ natives Bouncing Souls. It was during this time that Habit became close friends with Mr.Dibbs of Atmosphere and began performing during set breaks. Stage diving, cooling the crowd down from the 90 degree heat with water guns and water ballons, Moshing anything to get the crowd more involved in the show. This was also the time that Habit befriended Juliet Lewis of Juliet Lewis and the Licks. Habit has performed at many ball parks and Stadiums including in Houston at the Reliant Center, on the Pier 30//32 in San Francisco California, at Thunderbird stadium in Vancouver, BC, as well as the home of the Denver Bronco's Invesco Field just to name a few.

Habit and the band would later embark on a solo tour called “Laying the ground work tour” which was fueled off the success of “Groundwork.” Habit later went on to write articles for the internet magazine 4twk.com*. He was then recruited by the Nine West footwear corporation to work hands on with the designers and artists who make the shoes before they hit the stores for the Nine west Kids Brands. He currently resides in NYC.
