Rezwan Khan (born July 23, 1981) is a businessman, entrepreneur, and legal advocate. Mr. Khan is a partner and owner of Seedless Clothing Co., as well as a patent holder, published author, and is well known in the entertainment and music industries.

Born in Houston, Texas, Mr. Khan was raised in Burbank, California. Rezwan moved to San Diego where he met Shea McComb, founder of Seedless Clothing Co., and became the Director of Marketing in 2000. He attended San Diego State University from 2005 to 2008, obtaining a B.A. in Psychology. He completed graduate coursework in International Relations and Geopolitics at Worchester College, Oxford, before returning to the states to pursue a degree in law. Since 2010, he has attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and is currently in his final year of studies.

Mr. Khan has served as the Director of Marketing for Seedless Clothing Co. for over a decade. Rezwan created and branded the popular “Seedless 420 Party,” an annual cultural event that brings together members of the underground community, specifically skateboarders, surfers, graffiti artists, and musicians. Over the years Seedless 420 party artists have included: RZA, Methodman, Redman, Barrington Levy, Junior Reid, George Clinton, Slightly Stoopid, and Snoop Dogg. The first Seedless 420 Party featured Long Beach Dub Allstars (composed of the remaining members of Sublime). On April 20th 2009, the Southtown Generals made their debut performance at the Seedless 420 Party held at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, California. Rezwan is currently an owner and partner of Seedless Clothing Co.

Mr. Khan also serves on the board of Photon LightBoards, and is the Acting Vice President of Photon Lightboards, Inc. Rezwan holds a patent for an illuminated LED sports action board, skateboard or snow board. ^[1]

While at San Diego State, Mr. Khan took a one year leave of absence from Seedless Clothing Co. to work as a paid research assistant at the Center for Behavioral Epidemiology and Community Health (CBEACH). ^[2] While at CBEACH, Rezwan obtained certification from the Institutional Review Board to perform research on human subjects through Project SIROCCO (a study of the effects of second hand smoke on children). ^[3]

Mr. Khan was a staff writer for SDSU’s newspaper the “Koala” during his studies there. He previously had a political column in the magazine Lucid ^[4] and has written many articles for the magazine High Times.^[5]

Mr. Khan began his legal studies at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in fall 2010. While in law school, Rezwan has worked for attorney Lance Rogers, an expert in the field of Medical Marijuana Law. ^[6] Rezwan has focused on the areas of criminal defense, asset forfeiture, and entertainment law.

Rezwan brought the Justin Bieber Paternity case to his firm, where he worked on the case with attorneys Lance Rogers and Matt Parr. The case involved a client who claimed Justin Bieber was the father of her child.^[7] The case resulted in a private settlement, and the suit being dropped.^[8]

In Fall 2013, Mr. Khan, with attorney Lance Rogers, second chaired the third trial of Jovan Jackson, a former operator of a medical marijuana dispensary in San Diego, California. Previously, in the People v. Jovan Jackson, California’s Fourth Appellate District affirmed the medical marijuana defense provided under California’s Medical Marijuana Program Act (MMPA). ^[9] Mr. Jackson has continually been prosecuted by the San Diego District Attorney’s Office for five years. ^[10] The third trial resulted in a guilty verdict, and is presently being appealed. ^[11]

Netroots Nation selected Mr. Khan to be an expert panelist for their Marijuana Reform Panel at the Netroots Nation Convention 2013, held in San Jose, CA June 20-23. Netroots selected Rezwan to be an expert panelist because his combined business and legal background makes him an expert in the area of marijuana law and industry practices. ^[12]
