User:Gorgan almighty/My notes/Other editors

Source: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

On this page, I intend to keep notes on various editors that I have come across so that I can remember them and recall my previous interfacing with them if needs be.

This is not an attack page

It is for my own personal use, to assist me in interfacing with other editors better, and ultimately to assist me in making more constructive edits to the encyclopaedia. I have been honest about all of the entries on this page, and as a result some of them are less than complementary. However, I do not intend to show this page to anyone else, and it is not linked to from any of my userspace pages, so I don't believe I should be accused of being a troll or attacking other users. Please bare this in mind if you accidentally stumble across this page. However, if you do strongly object to this page, please assume good faith and simply nominate it at MfD (and notify me of course), rather than blocking me as a troll.

Seems to be a good, friendly editor who's well versed in Wikipedia rules.

When I last interacted with him, he was a fairly new Wikipedian who hadn't quite understood the concept of no original research (we were all like that once, weren't we?). Seems fairly friendly and keen to learn, although I had to act to prevent an edit war between the two of us, due to his original research synthesis additions.

He has a rather annoying habit of removing previous comments from his Talk page. According to him, it's not in his "professional interest" to keep those comments on there. Not quite sure what he means by that.

Update: MyTigers is still active on the Blackle.com article, but still has not contributed to any other pages on the wiki. This leads me to suspect that MyTigers is a single-purpose account, and may even have a conflict of interest with regards to the Blackle.com article (although he is editing it responsibly).

A bit of an awkward editor. Has very firm beliefs about what constitutes notability, and how articles should be written, but seems unwilling to listen to other people's opinions. Also has a bit of a problem with assuming good faith.

A long time Wikipedian who seems to be highly regarded among several editors because of the number of articles that she has contributed to. However, I find her idea of what constitutes a good article tone to be rather odd. For example, she regarded this as "excellent - nice work!".

Also, in the Regent Cinemas AfD, she seemed to think that non-notability must be proved in order for an article to be considered non-notable.

Seems to be a good, friendly editor who's well versed in Wikipedia rules. He shared my frustrations in trying to fix the Jocelyne Couture-Nowak article, and was falsely accused of trying to WP:OWN the article, by User:Oakshade.
