Ordo Fantet is an unusual fairy-tale medieval music that combines a classical symphony orchestra, medieval and early music, as well as deep and depressing drums and percussion.

The word Fantet is a fusion of two words Fantasy and Motet - (medieval polyphonic musical genre)

The main difference from Dark wave and Ambient is that Fantet can be both minor and major in terms of the overall concept of sound and lyrical content. Also in Fantet dominate the low male and high female vocals. The most distinctive character of this genre is the live performance and the complete exclusion (rock or heavy metal) of the sound. Electric guitars are excluded and not used, any overdrives (overdrive, boost, distortion, etc.)

All the instruments on which Fantet is performed, either, the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, or classical symphony orchestra. The software Ambient sound is used, as well as the sound of the old synthesizers by the example of Dark Ambient and Dungeon Synth. Secondly, the main distinguishing feature of the sound is the fabulous melodies, immersed in a huge fantasy concept, the bright and main instrument in Fantet is "celesta". Also mandatory use of lute, harp and hurdy-gurdy. Classical orchestral percussion merges with medieval drums and tambourines.

Fantet music for the role-players, fans of fantasy and the Middle Ages.

The genre was created with the first album band Fornesbury Tales (ex-Procel and Raum) under the same name by the name Ordo Fantet in January 1995.

The founder of the band and its composer is Lovidalf Ranemmak VI [2] (Lovi-Thibaut). Lovidalf [3] is a writer of the genre of epic fantasy and all the music of the band Fornesbury Tales was dedicated to his book universe "Codex Draggriffe"

The followers of the genre have a continuation of the idea of the band Fornesbury Tales. These projects are from the side of the composer Lovidalf [4], with a mixture of many styles of extreme and underground music.

Ordo Fantet. The Ordo Fantet was "not to be celebrated in the presence of common people, because they do not notice its subtlety, nor are they delighted in hearing it, but in the presence of the educated and of those who are seeking out fantasy in the arts. ©Lovi-Thibaut
