Gibraltar Arms is a privately held corporation incorporated in 2011 to provide the SRM Arms Model 1216 tactical shotgun to US individuals and international dealers and governments.

Gibraltar Arms is a fully licensed exporter registered with the United States Department of State, Department of Commerce and Bureau of Alchol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF).

The SRM Arms Model 1216 tactical shotgun was developed by SRM Arms, Meridian, Idaho, USA. The Model 1216 tactical shotgun is a semi-automatic 12 gauge, 16 shot, detachable rotary magazine. SRM Arms developed three versions, the Model 1216 (16 + 1 rounds), the Model 1212 (12 + 1 rounds), and the Model 1208 (8 rounds + 1).

Model's 1212 and 1208 are classfied as a Class III (NFA) firearm (short barreled shotgun) and end users are required to obtain a permit from BATF to possess these shotguns.
