Mary (Tooke) Darnall's signature

Mary Tooke (1573-1632) of Essendon, Hertfordshire was the daughter of William Tooke and Mary Tichborne and wife to Henry Darnall (1564-1607).

Her will was proven on 27 April 1632, and witnessed by James Tooke, John Tey, Judith Killingworth.^[1]

Phillip Darnall was an English barrister. His son Henry Darnall emigrated to America, where he became the Proprietary Agent of George Calvert's son, Cecil Calvert, 2nd Lord Baltimore.
Ralph Darnall, also a barrister, was Clerk to the Parliament during the Protectorate.^[2] Ralph Darnall's daughter Mary married Charles Calvert, son and heir of the Proprietor of Maryland, Cecil Calvert, 2nd Lord Baltimore.^[3]
