Dr. Igor Khalatian (born in Yerevan, Armenia) is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and inventor with over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. He is the Founder and CEO of Ideal Match Inc., where he has leveraged his expertise in computer science and artificial intelligence to create revolutionary products, including Iris Dating and BestLOOK.ai. Dr. Khalatian has launched several successful startups and holds 13 U.S. patents.

Dr. Igor Khalatian was born in Yerevan, Armenia. He attended School No. 42 named after Taras Shevchenko and later graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnical Institute in 1986. In 1991, he completed his training at the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, earning a degree as a Candidate of Physical Sciences.

Dr. Khalatian began his professional career at AT&T with Bell Labs, where he worked from 1992 to 1995. He then joined Lucent Technologies for a year before moving to Avaya, where he worked from 1996 to 1998. In 1999, Dr. Khalatian founded SCLAB, serving as the CEO until 2006. During the same year, he also founded HelpMeeting, where he held the CEO position until 2006.

In 2006, Dr. Khalatian founded LiveLOOK Inc., a company that was later acquired by Oracle in September 2014.^[1] Following the acquisition, he served as Vice President of Development at Oracle from August 2014 to August 2022. During his tenure at Oracle, Dr. Khalatian continued to drive innovation and contributed significantly to the company’s development initiatives.

In August 2022, Dr. Khalatian became an official member of the Forbes Technology Council.^[2] He is also the Founder and CEO of Iris Dating and BestLOOK.ai, positions he has held since August 2022.^[3]

Throughout his career, Dr. Khalatian has secured 13 U.S. patents, reflecting his significant contributions to computer science and artificial intelligence. His entrepreneurial endeavors have been recognized for their innovation and impact in the technology industry.

Dr. Khalatian is an avid mountaineer and has climbed over 200 mountains worldwide, including Mount Everest. He is a member of The Explorers Club and The Tuxedo Club. In 2002, he made history by becoming the first-ever Armenian citizen to summit Mount Everest. This accomplishment highlights his determination and adventurous spirit in conquering one of the world's highest peaks.^[4]

He has been married since July 14, 1990, and has two children.
