The 1958 Copa Ibarguren was the 23nd (and last) edition of this national cup of Argentina.^[1] The final was contested by Racing Club de Avellaneda (1958 Primera División champion)^[2][3], and Liga Cordobesa de Fútbol of Córdoba Province, champion of 1952 Copa Presidente de la Nación.^[4]

The match was held in C.A. Belgrano Stadium on 13 March 1960 (almost two years both teams won their respective editions due to organizational problems), with the Cordobese combined winning their first Ibarguren Cup after beating Racing 4–3.^[1][5]

The Liga Cordobesa had won the Copa de la República (also named "Campeonato Interligas") in December 1958 after defeating the Liga Mendocina of Mendoza Province) 1–0 in the final held in Gimnasia y Esgrima Stadium in the city of Mendoza. The team had previously eliminated Tres Arroyos (withdrew), and San Juan (2–1) representatives.^[4]

On the other hand, Racing Club had won the Primera División title in 1958 with 41 points in 30 matches played, above Boca Juniors and San Lorenzo which finished in the 2nd. and 3rd. positions respectively.^[6] Nevertheless, one of the most Racing notable players in that championship, Oreste Corbatta^[7] (considered the greatest idol in the history of Racing and regarded as the best Argentine winger ever)^[8][9][10] could not play the final.^[1]

Most of the footballers that played the final v the Cordobese team would then play in the Copa Suecia final vs Atlanta, held in April 1960.^[11]

As there is not a field hockey wikiproject, the competition tables format were surely taken from football or other sports (although you stated on the summary that "this does not follow football style")... so what style does it follow?.

The problem is that you have been reverting ANY changes made to the table. About the format, there was a (discussion where a consensus was finally reached. Following that consensus, I did not change the entire format to the FIH WC table, nevertheless you insisted on reverting the changes. Unlike that time, no MOS:flags or MOS:overlink can be alleged just like you did in the previous discussion. So I would tend to think that your changes are based more on a whim than a principled reason, unless you can prove the contrary.

So please, I'm going to make the changes again. If you persist on the same behaviour, I'll have to open a new case at WP:ANI with all the elements given above as proof to report your reversions as disruptive, which I don't want to do.
