Robert Miller is an award winning American music composer for film, television and concert hall, with a career spanning some 23 years. He has scored over 2,000 commercials, a growing body of some 40 film scores, as well as numerous works for the stage. Over the years his work has garnered him seven CLIO awards, two AICP Awards[1][2], two Emmy "group" nominations for the Coca-Cola spot “It’s Mine” and Mercedes' “Modern Ark,” as well as collective Emmys for Coca-Cola's “Heist" and the ESPN 30 for 30 film "Survive and Advance."
Background
Miller was formally trained at the Mannes College of Music in New York City and was mentored privately by American Masters William Schuman, Aaron Copland and Edgar David Grana. He was the Composer-In-Residence with the New York-based Jupiter Symphony from 1996-1999, where he premiered six new concert pieces.

Miller has scored commercials for Coca-Cola, Mercedes, GE, Pedigree, BMW, Gillette, Toyota, Budweiser, Playstation, Travelers, SAP, UPMC, Levi's, and many more.[3]
Museum Of Natural History
Miller is a longtime collaborator with The American Museum of Natural History’s Hayden_Planetarium, having scored four dome shows since 2008. He most recently composed the orchestral score for the planetarium show "Dark Matter," narrated by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.[4]
