Mudyiwa is a large village in Gangare community under Chief Mazungunye,Bikita West constituency

Mudyiwa as a village was found some years ago before the colonial period by one of the co-founders by the name Mudyiwa.Its is believed that the Mudyiwas who belong to the Moyo Totem of the Rozvi or Varozvi originated form the prominent iron age sites like Great Zimbabwe ruins and the Rozvi State
