Hello again

Here's a different welcome message, with some more useful links, for your new address. Two more pieces of advice:

  • Now you have two accounts. That's not a problem in itself, and there is no way to actually close down your old one, but you should take care not to use it, because using two accounts, for instance to back each other up in discussions, is called SOCKPUPPETRY, is strongly disapproved of, and can get you blocked. To avoid any possibility of that, I suggest that you (a) put on the user page of the old account something on the lines of "This account is no longer used: my new account is User:DotComCairney" and (b) then never use the old account again.

  • I shall search for some reliable sources and change the page accordingly. Thanks for all the help you are giving me, it's much appreciated. DotComCairney (talk) 14:24, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
