Doctor Stephen Cohen (September 23, 1938) is an American doctor, endodontist, doctor of dental surgery, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and Fellow of the American College of Dentists.

Biography Stephen Cohen completed his endodontic residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 1969, after which he opened his own practice.
From 1970 to 1988, Dr. Cohen served as the chairman of the endodontics department at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at Pacific University. From 1970 to 1974, he was the head of the endodontic department at Mount Zion Clinic, a large clinical center. From 1984 to 1989, he headed the American Board of Endodontics.
From 2005 to 2009, he held the position of adjunct professor of clinical endodontics in the Department of Practical and Restorative Dentistry at the University of California School of Dentistry (San Francisco).
He currently runs his own clinical practice and lectures to dentists in North and South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe. He is a speaker for the OTEXE training platform. At various times, he has served as an independent endodontic consultant at Travis Air Force Base, Oak Knoll Naval Hospital, and Letterman General Hospital.
Publications
Stephen Cohen is the author of the world's most popular endodontic textbook, "Pathways of the Pulp," and co-editor of the updated 10th edition of this textbook. The textbook has been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Korean, Russian, and Indonesian. In 2006, he co-edited a clinical guide to dental traumatology. Awards
In 2008, he received the Louis I. Grossman Award from the French Society of Endodontists.
In 2015, he received the Ralph F. Sommer Award from the American Association of Endodontists.
