The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is an upcoming 2024 video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the first game in the Legend of Zelda series played in a top-down perspective to be released since the 2019 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, with which Echoes of the Wisdom shares the same graphical style. Unlike previous games in the series, the player controls Princess Zelda as the game's primary protagonist, rather than Link. Echoes of Wisdom was announced in an online Nintendo Direct presentation in June 2024. Its release is scheduled for September 26, 2024.
