ALL ABOUT JESSE DAMON - Jesse Damon is a musician, recording artist, songwriter, guitarist, lead vocalist!He started his professional career by releasing a CD from his band Silent Rage in 1987. In the early years, when Jesse Damon started out his musical career, for him it was about blazing a trail in one of rock's infamous time periods notorious known as "the 80's." Jesse is an original member of the rock band “Silent Rage” and they were the driving force and one of rocks most promising bands from the glory days of the Hollywood Sunset Strip. Born January 15, 1959, and named Timothy James Reilly, he and his Family lived in Hawthorne California where he grew up. By 1988, before releasing Silent Rage second album "Don't Touch Me There," he professionally changed his name from Timmy James Reilly to Jesse Damon. A singer songwriter, guitarist, and front man who has seen his share of success with his recording group which has released four critically acclaimed albums entitled 1987's “Shattered Hearts", 1989's "Don't Touch Me There", 2002's "Still Alive", and 2008's Four Letter Word.” Jesse is best known for his MTV single "Rebel With A Cause." While vocals and songwriting are his main strengths, his guitar playing is his first love. By the year 2000 Jesse was embarking on his own solo musical career. His debut solo CD was released in 2003 entitled “The Hand That Rocks,” a mix of melodic rock, seasoned with intense ballads. His second solo CD released in 2004 entitled “Nothin’ Else Matters” has a newer sound and style, that generates a blend of Classic meet's Modern! His third solo CD was released in 2006 entitled “Rebel Within,” and is armed to the teeth with a heavier sound that takes the listeners through a journey of solid hard rock material, which we've not seen the likes of from Jesse Damon since his Silent Rage glory days. Jesse Damon’s life has been a musical journey, influenced by several big artists in rock music history, namely Led Zepplin, The Beatles, KISS, and Black Sabbath, as well as some contemporary bands of today! Jesse has become a prominent writer, and has written songs for other artists, for motion pictures, and also television shows! Jesse Damon has worked with such producers as Bob Ezrin, Paul Sabu, Gene Simmons, Kevin Beamish, The French Brothers, among others. He received a Gold Album for songwriting with Legend Gene Simmons of KISS, and also received 3 South Bay Music Awards for, Best Independent CD, Rock Artist of the Year and most recently the Pioneer Award, for his contribution of bringing awareness to the emerging artists in the beach area, by performing, co-writing and recording with some of L.A.’s young new artist’s. And now… Jesse is once again ready to rock with Silent Rage at this years BRC Festival in Bologna, Italy on June 6, 2009 and the Rocklahoma Festival July 10, 2009! Also, there will be another solo CD coming from Jesse Damon this year!!! (release date unknown at this time)
