Doris Mary Cannell (19 July 1913 – 8 April 2000)[1] was a historian in mathematics.
Life and career
Cannell was born in Liverpool and attended Merchant Taylors' girls school.
She went on to study French and history in the University of Liverpool. She also received a postgraduate diploma for education, becoming a school teacher and teaching French and English.
