I'm a resident of Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois. I have many passions, one of which is history. In addition to world and national history, I've lately become a big fan of learning everything I can about local history. Illinois in general, and central IL in particular, which is where I've lived for many years.

One of my other big passions is computers, the internet, and things like Wikipedia! I love everything Wikipedia stands for and am glad to be a part of helping out as much as possible. I can't even put into words what a resource like Wikipedia will mean to the younger generations one day. It is already becoming something great indeed. But when you compare it with the resources available to a normal young man or woman thirty years ago, it's nothing short of amazing.
