The Cavendish Arms is a village inn situated in the village of Embsay in North Yorkshire, next to the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway. It is approximately one and a half miles from the market town of Skipton, famous for it's medieval castle. The Cavendish Arms dates back to approximately 1760 when it was built as a farm. Over the years it became a pub known as The Rampant Lion. Today The Cavendish Arms is plays an important part in village life for both locals and visitors as it plays host to the local football and cricket teams.
