Ravi Krishnan (born June_16, 1972 in Ernakulam, Kerala India) is an author, speaker [1] and marketing professional in the Electrical power industry. He has authored several articles about clean coal technology and aging issues in the power industry [2].


Early Work

Ravi began his consulting career at Mississippi Power Company, an operating company of Southern Company, a large fossil fuel fired power producer in their marketing & market research group. Ravi has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Computer Science. He earned his MBA and Master of Science in Marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He is a member of numerous trade associations including Air and Waste Management Association and his work has featured in over 200 publications.

Career

Ravi served as Executive Vice President & COO of RJM Corporation, a global provider of environmental technologies for utility and industrial power plants. His expertise is in the management and marketing of air pollution control technologies, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCRs), Catalysts, FGD Scrubbers, baghouses and air-pollution control equipment for power applications. While at RJM, Ravi authored articles comparing legislations such as the Clear Skies Act and the Clean Power Act.

He is the president of Krishnan & Associates,a privately held consulting firm that provides a range of services to the global power industry. He is also the founder of enstreet.com,an information portal that provides news, information and analysis on clean energy. His firm is a member of ICAC - the Institue of Clean air companies.

Personal Life

Ravi is married to Rupa, also a marketing professional. He lives with his wife and two children, Riya and Raam in Norwalk CT.
