Fc Nond (real name Fernando Cesar Souza Neves — born February 28th, 1962) is a Brazilian DJ, record producer, architect and urban planner. In the 80s, Fernando dedicated to his architecture career, while his love for turntables kept him busy at small parties. In the 90s, he shifted gears and started working in studios and got serious on his career as a DJ and producer. The music career became his main focus, and he differentiated his mixed sets from other contemporary Brazilian DJs by including his own productions.
Recognized today as one of the most important DJs and electronic music producers in Brazil, Fc Nond's productions have been included in many popular Dance Music compilations: his single Re-Used is on the legendary series LIVE AT ROXY 4 by DJ/Remixer/Producer and Grammy Award Winner Peter Rauhofer. FC Nond's Kerosene song can be heard on the two-time Grammy Award nominee DJ/Remixer/Producer Tony Moran's Tour the Beat CD. The track New Love is out on the CD Dance Culture by Grammy Award Winner Tracy Young. His remix of Danzel Pump It Up was released in the US by Ultra Records and is part of several Dance Music compilations in Europe. FC Nond's remix of B More Shake by Afrika Bambaataa is on the Queer As Folk Club Babilon CD and Freedom CD, mixed by DJ Manny Lehman CD. The B More Shake Max single & 12 vinyl where released by Tommy Boy Silver label and charted #15 on the Billboard's "Hot Music / Club Play Top 100" in the first weeks of August 2005 and was still featured on the "August 27 week" Top 100 charts (9 weeks total).
