Beshqayragoch mosque — A public mosque located in Beshkayragoch neighborhood of Uchtepa district of Tashkent city. It was registered as a religious organization by the justice department of Tashkent on September 18, 1998.

History

The mosque is called "Beshqayragoch" because it is located in Beshqayragoch district. According to some historical data, there were five historical fir trees in the neighborhood of Beshkayragoch, and this place was used as a resting place for passing caravans in ancient times. Salahiddin Tashkandi, who lived in this area, called this neighborhood "Beshkayragoch" in his work "Temurnoma". In 1994, neighborhood activists started building the mosque. The mosque started functioning in October 1995. It was completely renovated in 2014.

Location

The mosque is located at house 555D on Kokcha Darvoza Street (former Mannon Uygur Street) in Beshqayragoch Mosque neighborhood, Uchtepa District, Tashkent.
