Solutions Twin Cities is a non-profit organization that connects people in the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas of Minnesota (Twin Cities) through an online community and events. It was founded in 2007 by Troy Gallas and Colin Kloecker.
The organization's first event was held on May 2, 2007 at The Southern Theater in Minneapolis, with over 200 in attendance. Inspired by Pecha Kucha, a rapid presentation format for creative people that was developed in Tokyo, Japan, each organization or individual is alloted a slideshow of 20 images at 20 seconds per image, for a presentation length of six minutes 40 seconds. This technique allows for each presenter to give a brief summary of their work. Presenters included architects, designers and those involved in loacl issues. issues.companies.[1][2]
