user:Bct.x42 is Brian C. Thomas. I have a doctoral degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. I did post-doctoral work at University of California, Berkeley with Norman R. Pace. I have worked with several faculty at UCB since and since 2007 have worked exclusively with Jillian F. Banfield.
In 2016 I founded Metagenomi.co with Jillian F. Banfield to explore unculturable microbes as a source of new therapeutics.
I live in Berkeley, California and I am married to Maggi Kelly.
