He was the youngest son born in Aujla family. The day he was born, has been celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti. As his birth date was 2nd October, Rupinder’s father decided to call him as Gandhi.

Rupinder Gandhi took admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh. Village people says that Rupinder Gandhi was so popular in his village that he became a youth icon for all the youngsters in and around his place. Death
Rupinder Singh, sarpanch of Rasulra village and head of a gang was kidnapped on September 5. The body of the victim was reportedly thrown into a canal and has not been recovered.
