Production

The eleventh series of Love Island began airing on June 3rd, 2024, with a simulcast on ITV1 and ITV2, marking the first time the launch episode aired on both channels. Applications for the season opened just hours before the final episode of season 10 aired in August 2023. The first teaser for series 11 aired in April 2024, depicting a dramatic scene with a person in a silver boiler suit using a flamethrower, accompanied by the tagline "This summer's going to be fire."
