Both Worlds started on November 26, 2007 as part of Both Worlds Celebration Week, in which premiered five brand new episodes of Both Worlds all week long, with the premiere of a new Both Worlds Music Video (Nobody's Perfect).

Season 2: 2008
Both Worlds has returned for a Second Season, which started on May 20, 2008, and Season Two is completely different then Season One. IHlover's Totally Rockin' Summer Vacation, a new CD was released: Both Worlds Season One CD and a new episode of Both Worlds: Jackson's My Brother. Behind-The-Scenes Week will start September 5, 2008 with three new episodes of Both Worlds and go behind-the-scenes of Both Worlds.

Season 3: 2009-12
Both Worlds has been announced that it will be returning for a third season. Season 3 started production on Friday, November 21, 2008, and premiered on Friday, May 1, 2009, as part of Premiere Weekend where 3 new episodes aired all weekend long. New episodes of Both Worlds will premere every Tuesday and Thursday in May. The premiere of a brand new music video “Life’s What You Make It,” will premiere on Friday, May 22 as well as sneak peeks of Brand new episodes all month long in April 2009.

Season 4: 2012
Both Worlds has been renewed for a forth and final season. The season will consist of 10 episodes that will be leading into the 2-Part musical finale. The final season was expected to premiere on January 23, 2012 with a week of Taylor Swift inspired episodes, however the date got moved to Summer 2012. The new season's episodes will be named after the song being used for the episode.
