Each semester, the Spelman College Museum features a new exhibit. In the fall semester

Some Black Women artists the museum has displayed include Amy Sherald, Mickalene Thomas, and Reneé Stout [1]. Each semester, the Spelman College Museum features a new exhibit. One of Spelman's most exclusive exhibits was Beverly Buchanan's Beverly Buchanan-Ruins and Rituals in the fall of 2017. Buchanan's exhibit included 150 pieces of art in different mediums, and was the most "comprehensive exhibition" of her work at this time. In the fall semester of 2018 the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art featured South African artist Zanele Muholi's Zanele Muholi: Somnyama Ngonyama, Hail the Dark Lioness.
