UR Cristiano (stylised as UR · Cristiano) is the official YouTube channel of Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
History
The channel was created on 8 July 2024,[2] however it remained a secret until Ronaldo announced on his social media platforms the creation of it on 21 August 2024.[3][4] Shortly before the channel's announcement, 10 videos were published, including his reaction to his wax figure[5] at the Madame Tussauds Museum,[6] a free kick challenge with his son[7] and tips on how to overcome difficulties.[8]
It reached 1 million subscribers 90 minutes after publishing its first video,[9][10][11][12] 5 million after four hours,[13] 10 million after twelve hours,[14] 20 million in less than 24 hours,[15] 30 million in less than 48 hours and 50 million in less than a week [16] becoming the fastest YouTube channel to reach such milestones.
It also became the most subscribed channel in Portugal, surpassing the Portuguese Nick Jr.,[17] and the channel that gained the most subscribers in one hour.[18]
