Template:USRepSuccessionBoxNeeded
Helper template for temporary succession box placement. Displays an empty version of the box with default (usually empty) parameters, until an editor can complete the desired succession box.
Usage
Parameters are positional to assist easy copy and paste from a congressional district list.

- state should be specified, but currently defaults to "New York". Preview will link to the congressional delegation list, where other parameters may be found.
- district defaults to at-large. When the correct district is known, preview will link to the district list, where other parameters may be found more easily and succinctly.
When all (or most) of the parameters are known, this template should be subst'd to provide a handy default layout of the succession box template.

- starting year (or yyyy-mm-dd) for unusual circumstances
- finished year (or yyyy-mm-dd) for unusual circumstances
- predecessor article title
- successor article title
The first and last district entry (and any current incumbent) have different succession box parameters, and will need additional edits after subst'ing.
