This template is a wrapper for {{Infobox hut}} and must be substituted ("Subst:").
Usage
This template, {{Infobox hut/Schutzhütte}}, is designed to support articles on mountain or Alpine huts that have been translated from German Wikipedia. It works by converting the German parameters into their {{Infobox hut}} equivalents, such that all parameters are automatically translated, along with many of the standard data entries. This reduces the workload for translators and facilitates the rapid transfer of tabular information from the German Wikipedia. However, due to the more general nature of {{Infobox hut}}, not all parameters are compatible, and some manual conversion may be necessary. For example, the German LAGE field often contains country information, while Infobox hut has a separate country field. See the testcases page for an example of an automatic conversion.
Instances of the infobox in articles must be substituted.
To display the infobox in articles, just copy the original infobox from the German Wikipedia, adding "subst:" before "Infobox Schutzhütte". All usable parameters will be automatically translated. Some standard data entries will also be translated; the remainder need to be translated manually. Empty parameters will not be displayed. (|NAME= has the same effect as a missing parameter NAME).
