Discussion of reason for text removed from body of article

It is inappropriate to write about the "why" of an article in the body of it. That type of info belongs here, on the talk page. Here's the removed text: "Pocock's monographs will continue to be listed at the main article, J.G.A. Pocock, but the need for additional bibliography soon became evident. There were two pertinent aims: to slim down that article; and also to assist the interested student and researcher by arranging the added items in a conveniently accessible cluster format." Edit warring

This is a request that the edit warring on this article stop, and a reminder of The Three Revert Rule. It doesn't seem to have been broken close but I know that, in the heat of getting your good faith changes made to Wikipedia, it can be easy to exceed the limit.
