Irrelevant examples Most of the examples (actually, all of them other than the first) seem to have little to do with "wild pointers" per se -- they are just the usual examples of misusing pointers, and so they belong somewhere else (such as the pointer article, Wikibooks on C programming techniques, or perhaps an article on pointer usage in C). Anyone object to my removing all the examples except for the first one?
(Admittedly this leaves the article as somewhat of a stub, but seeing as how the additional content doesn't relate to the article's subject, I don't think it is actually a loss). Neilc 4 July 2005 16:27 (UTC)
- I have a problem with this article too. It is usually very bad idea to tell what is a bad use of certain features, as in wikipedia we are not teaching how to program code correctly. As you see, I added a merger tag for now. -- Taku July 4, 2005 18:56 (UTC)
- It's not about "bad use" of certain features, it's an article providing information on a common way for programmers to muff up their programs. It's not simply a bad way, in which the NPOV arguments come in, it's a destructive way that usually causes the program to stop working properly. Cornince 06:07, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
