would somebody please elaborate: "Higher education institutions in Canada are prevented from becoming diploma mills by provincial legislation and regulation. This is unlike universities in the United States and other countries." Does not sound very fair to all the "other countries". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.119.129.74 (talkcontribs)

How does it not sound fair? It's the truth, the majority of the degree's you can 'buy' come from the United States. Other countries (not necessarily all other countries) are also guilty of not preventing this. Of course, a large portion of the world have implemented protection against degree/diploma mills.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.99.82.30 (talkcontribs)

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 01:27, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
