{{edit COI}}

Hi! I'm a brand-new editor, and recently made some edits to this page without being aware of Wikipedia's policy on COI, which I have read now. I absolutely want to keep Wikipedia neutral, and so I accept @ElKevbo's reversion of my edits. I've redone a handful of my prior edits but kept these restricted to typos, correcting mis-cited sources, and adding one source that I thought was helpful. I welcome others to check me on whether these edits are appropriate.

We’re all here to make a better article, I’m sure.
Here’s an essay about “controversy” sections: WP:CRIT.
The topic of LBGT students has received widespread, continuing coverage in major media. So it follows WP:DUE to have significant space here. We can expand on the college administration’s POV, using the existing sources. WestRiding24 (talk) 04:17, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This makes sense, thank you for explaining and providing those links! Busy Crumb (talk) 05:35, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, it's not the final word and everybody can continue to improve it. There is a vaguely chronological history section so there's the option of splitting out the material into the respective president's terms, for example.. I can't resist pointing out that, for eight years, the article has included the (unsourced) accomplishment of changing the college's "marketing font".[1][2] So, weight is relative but it matters how much independent sources have covered a topic. If six or more reliable sources had discussed that marketing font it'd deserve a similar treatment. Also note that, in terms of screen inches, the LGBT stuff takes up no more room (on my computer) than the immediately preceding "Greek system" section, which is solely sourced to a college webpage.
