FITTLETON'S FATE

HMS Fittleton was not broken up but sunk after a collision with the frigate HMS Mermaid, with considerable loss of life. Her CO, Lt Cdr Peter Paget,RNR, was acquitted by a Courts Martial. Hyphenation

Should the title of this article have the hyphen removed? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 15:31, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, it is a compound adjective. "The Ton class" - noun format "The Ton-class minesweeper" - compound adjective per WP:NC-SHIPS Llammakey (talk) 16:52, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
